And of course, the fact that Back to the Future is coming up on 30 years since it's historic debut at theaters, the idea of a kid from modern times getting slammed into his parents era, 30 years prior, is a timeless concept that I feel would resonate with audiences. How many times have you read a Facebook post talking about how great the era of Atari and Transformers was, and how kids today just don't understand how good they have it.

And of course, there is the sequel. Where, in the original, Marty shoots into the future with a flying car, intense holographic advertising and CRT monitor based wait staffs that still serve coke in glass bottles. I can do without hover technology and Jaws sequels as long as the Cubs win the World Series.
